Project Overview
The Children’s Discovery Center immerses children in a two story 14,000 sq. ft. interactive environment that draws connections between pursuits in books, exploration in the real world and the astounding diversity of the borough of Queens. It includes hands-on interactive exhibits and learning labs to enable children ages 3 -12 to find information and to inspire interest in books, reading, and learning while discovering the joy of scientific exploration. Working within a fixed budget, Dimensional produced this project with NO CHANGE ORDERS or additional costs above the base contract.
