Project Overview
LHSA+DP chose Dimensional Worldwide to help bring their unique vision for the East Hampton Library’s Children’s Reading Room to life. The rich heritage of Long Island’s East End was the inspiration for the interior design elements and graphics for the new space. Iconic lighthouses, windmills and boats were transformed into reading nooks, seating areas and desks,colorful alphabet murals were designed by a local artist for the walls and a custom rug illustrated with regional landmarks was produced for the lounge area. These elements came together beautifully to create a welcoming and educational atmosphere for the children of the community.
