Project Overview
Working with MKTG, Dimensional transformed the century-old garage and sorting room of the main NYC Post Office into a 70,000 square foot “ultimate fan experience” for the week leading up to the NBA All-Star Game. Older buildings can be problematic, and this one was no exception. Our team had to compensate for uneven floors and disguise timeworn concrete, dangling wires, and rusty pipes. We created scenic and graphic walls, using our proprietary Diamond tensioned fabric system, and built a custom glass enclosure where fans could get a “behind the scenes” glimpse at social media updates throughout the event. Dimensional also constructed thirteen 26ft. tall lightbox towers that featured NBA Stars and were used both inside and outside of the event space.
